What is Quicktime®?

QuickTime is a browser plug-in that enables interactive display of video, images, and 360° photographic panoramic images within web sites. To view QuickTime® content, you need to have Apple's free QuickTime® software installed. (Back to top)

When I try to download Quicktime® I have to download iTunes?

The default Quicktime® installer does include iTunes.  However, you can download the standalone Quicktime® installer without iTunes using the URL below. (Back to top)

Have you installed the latest version of QuickTime®? If not, please visit the QuickTime® web site to download and install. Accessing QuickTime® media on this site without a browser plug-in should direct you automatically to the download page. (Back to top)

I have installed QuickTime®, but movies aren't playing

Are you connected to the Internet? If you have confirmed your Internet connection and are still having problems, access Apple's QuickTime® installation check web page.
