Spoken languages have dialect variations, and so does BSL. There are dialect signs, just as there are dialect words in English. All over Britain there are regional signs. As part of a case study and as a collaboration with the "Sign Here" project, an interactive program has been developed that seeks to explore the different regional dialects using the Highlands region of Scotland. This program will give you access to examples of dialogue and regional vocabulary for the Highlands region.
